Disposal and Recycle Policy

Thank you for contributing to our annual fundraiser. We strive to accept all donations, but from experience we know some items cannot or will not be sold. As a service to our contributors, we will accept the following items with a disposal donation which may be tax deductible.

• Refrigerators and freezers - $25
• All other major appliances - $20
  • Includes: clothes washers and dryers, ranges, trash compactors and dishwashers
• * Microwaves - $10
• Hot water heaters - $10
• Mattresses or box springs
  • Full size - $10
  • Twin size - $5
• Hide-a-beds or sleeper sofas - $20
• Used doors - $5
• Used sinks or toilets - $5
• Used bathtubs - $10
• * Computer electronices less than Pentium 4 - $10
• * Copy machines - $25
• Wood stoves (all) - $25
• Other bulky or heavy items - amount variable

Rotary strives to recycle. The following items are accepted as a service to the community with a recycling donation which may be tax deductible.

• TV and computer monitors to 17 inches - $10
• TV and computer monitors over 17 inches - $30
• Console TV's (any size) - $30

Rotary will accept almost any item delivered to the auction site that is suitable for resale. However, there are some items we cannot accept:

• Paint or other hazardous materials
• Animals of any kind
• Waterbeds
• Certain construction remodel materials
• Single pane doors and windows
• Used wall-to-wall carpeting
• Vehicles without clear title and/or not in safe running condition
• Large boats without a trailer
• Single or bald tires (must be in pairs with usable tread)
